Dialing in a 100g sample on a micro-roaster is very different from roasting a 15kg–60kg production batch on a Loring, Probat, or Diedrich. I work asynchronously with the roastery’s head roaster during production days, analyzing their Cropster/Artisan roast logs and roast samples to dial in and stabilize curves that reveal the bean’s full potential and help the roaster secure the end client.

The primary barrier preventing European roasteries from buying direct from origin is the fear of roasting failure without local technical support. Exporters overcome this by attaching a Destination Roast Guarantee to their offer sheets. Providing 30 days of dedicated production calibration directly with a European roasting strategist removes the buyer's risk, giving head roasters the confidence to commit to direct container contracts and multi-harvest purchases.

Batch-to-batch stability is what turns a single pallet purchase into annual container commitments. When a European buyer's production team achieves consistent roast curves that highlight the coffee's origin characteristics, combined with what is being expected by the final clients at the consumers end, they can confidently market the product to their wholesale clients. Partnering with an independent European quality strategist guarantees the buyer receives 30 days of ongoing curve stabilization on their production equipment.
